The Biden-Harris Administration’s Disconnect from Reality

@POTUS: Anyone who willfully denies the impacts of climate change is condemning the American people to a dangerous future.

@GuardiansOfAI: Anyone who willfully denies the impacts of artificial intelligence is condemning the American people to a dangerous future.

To [Family member]:

Kevin: America is going to s*** so fast, you can’t even start to comprehend. Meta just released Llama 3 this past week, this is about to eradicate an entire industry of people who were doing animation on their computers as a job. Do you understand what is happening here? I think you have never been this much removed from America’s situation and I don’t blame you, everything is fine back in Europe. Not here. We are facing the crash of a meteor imminently, housing and job crisis on a scale that no one can even begin to realize. People used to not afford buying a house, then it was people can’t afford a 1-bedroom apartment to rent, now, people like me can’t even afford A ROOM to rent because rooms go for 1,500 euros a month now, can’t even use the kitchen sometimes or access to hot water I see online. Even my friend (see below) who is well established was in disbelief when he was helping me search for a place to live, he didn’t even know how bad it was out there, trying to find a place to live. Do you think I am the only one in this situation? I think not. 1,000 people per day on average in the tech industry get fired due to private companies switching everything to AI. No one can realize how bad things are unless you are a displaced worker and trying to find a place to live like I am with no job opportunities in site because the f***** bots block all the resumes now. With thousands and millions of Americans about to be out of a job in the next 6 months to a year, we are all about to be facing homelessness here. When Sora comes out, the entire city of Hollywood working in the movie industry will be out of a job and facing homelessness. Do you understand the situation or do I need to draw you a picture?!

Kevin: I know. I was hoping to get my deposit back from my current place within 21 days of moving out (California law) which is $2,600

Friend: I started looking for places for on FB and Craigslist and I realized how crazy it is
