Kevin: Hi “X”, I hope you have been doing well. I am sure you are extremely busy but I wanted to know if you had the time to review my latest letter to Congress by any chance? You can read it on the home page of my non-profit at www.VoiceForChangeFoundation.org. Al ethics needs to be considered an issue of the most importance seeing that employees are getting fired by big corporations right and left on a daily basis now. Thank you.

X: We are having federal agencies lead the way. Right now, Congress is too consumed with appropriations and the supplemental. And toh, probably a too partisan to pass something meaningful at the moment. Of course, this is technically a bipartisan issue so I can see something being done but most likely in 2025.

X: Send me your email. I'll forward you and email I just got from leadership.

Kevin: Thank you

I read the email. This is great news.

Since the layoff wave has already started where big tech companies have already fired thousands and thousands of their employees (sometimes up to 10% of their workforce) replaced by Al, this trend is likely to continue throughout 2024 across all tech companies. I am afraid that 2025 will likely be too late to put policies in place that will tell these companies that they can't do that on that scale as this will overcrowd the already saturated job market. I am also concerned that the current state of unemployment services (which l've experienced in the last 3 months) is not ready to meet the demand of a high amount of non-working citizens to assist them financially while they are looking for another job which takes on average about 4-6 months at the moment due to the high rejection rate of resumes by bots (about 75% of resumes are automatically rejected (by the bots) these days due to formatting issues). I appreciate you sending me this information “X”.

Knowing the above, is there anyone that you personally know that you could refer me too to speak about my data findings?

Thank you
